The latest Twitter research has found that Tweets which include images gets retweeted 35% and with video links gets retweeted 28% more than text-only tweets. This research was conducted with data pulled from more than 2 million tweets from thousands of verified users.
It was further found out that adding a quote, a number or digit, or a hashtag also boosts the number of retweets.

Facebook Redesigns Pages Layout

Facebook continues to change how it looks with its latest makeover on its Pages. The biggest change sees all page posts in one column just like on a user profile. This is clear to become helpful to both users as well as page admins.
Additionally, a new feature called “Pages to Watch” has also been introduced to the Page Insights tool.

Google Introduces a New Look for Desktop Search

Google has introduced a new design on search to desktop users. This new design sees both the view of organic search results and ads without underlines and increased font sizes. It also sees a change in the way ads are labeled.
According to Google’s senior vice president of search, the new design is thought to be “cleaner and simpler” and “optimised for touch”.
